We are looking to hire:

Senior Software Engineer – Java

In the area of video identification of customers combined with electronic signatures, our client was the first to provide the market with a legally secure solution without additional hardware.

Long Term

Full Remote

8 hours per day

Tasks :

• Be one of the key developers for the Java backend of the client which is used to
identify and authenticate thousands of customers every day
• Your focus from the start will be Java and backend API development and
there are opportunities further along your career to broaden your horizon and get
involved in mobile and front-end development
• Be part of the Scrum team and processes whilst playing a vital role in building a
secure, reliable, scalable, and high performing platform.
• Enhance our architecture and bring your ideas, expertise and critical thinking to help
shape the best identification platform on the market.

 

Requirements :

• At least 5+ of professional experience in software development with product-based
services
• Strong proficiency in Java core, language specification knowledge and the
following frameworks: Spring or Play! and Ebeans or alternative ORMs
• Experience in service-oriented architectures and in-depth knowledge of REST and API
development
• Solid database skills (modelling, SQL)
• You feel comfortable with all elements of the software development lifecycle
• You are conversationally confident in English (at least C1) – spoken and written; other
languages are a plus
• Desirable: University degree in a STEM subject
• Technologies: Backend: Java, Play, Spring, REST, Redis, MySQL,
• Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Selenium; Deployment/Tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker, Jira, Confluence

 

Nice to have:

• Frontend skills: HTML 5, Ember.js, Angular
