- Collaborate closely with the client’s stakeholders to thoroughly understand their pricing-related business requirements, challenges, and goals during the separation process.
- Design, configure, and optimize SAP IS Retail Pricing modules to align with the client’s pricing strategies, promotions, and markdown processes.
- Provide expert guidance in areas such as price determination, condition techniques, pricing conditions, and rebate agreements within the SAP IS Retail framework.
- Lead workshops, discussions, and knowledge transfer sessions to educate the client’s teams about best practices, system functionalities, and process improvements related to pricing.
- Develop comprehensive functional specifications, test plans, and documentation to ensure seamless communication and alignment between technical and business teams.
- Collaborate closely with technical consultants and developers to ensure the smooth implementation and customization of SAP IS Retail Pricing solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, system enhancements, and continuous improvement to enhance pricing accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability.
- Offer post-implementation support, promptly troubleshoot pricing-related issues, and provide training to end-users for effective utilization of the SAP IS Retail Pricing system.
- Stay updated with industry trends, SAP releases, and pricing strategy best practices to provide innovative and up-to-date solutions to the client.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as an SAP IS Retail Pricing Functional Consultant, specializing in pricing strategy and configuration.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP IS Retail Pricing modules, including price determination, condition techniques, pricing conditions, and rebate agreements.
- Strong understanding of retail pricing strategies and processes, particularly in the context of separation and transition scenarios.
- Proven track record of successfully leading SAP IS Retail Pricing implementation projects, from requirement gathering to solution design, configuration, testing, and post-implementation support.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey complex pricing concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating initiative, creativity, and effective problem-solving skills.
- SAP IS Retail Pricing certification is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed to support the client’s project requirements.
