We are looking to hire:

React Full-Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for a self-driven Front-End Engineer to join a scrum team working for our client in Austria on the development and support of a new stand-alone entity. The job will entail the defining, designing, implementation and support of the web application.

Remote

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Developing new user-facing features using React.js 
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use 
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code 
  • Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related subject or equivalent work experience Must have:

    • Experience in developing web applications in Javascript/Typescript

    • Experience with ReactJS and React Redux

    • Experience in consuming REST and GraphQL APIs in microservice architectures

  • Working knowledge about software development and testing standards and techniques (Unit Tests, TDD) 
  • Affinity to design software on a high quality and maintainability level
  • Experience with cloud-based, containerized microservice architectures (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Databases (relational and/or NoSQL)
  • Nice to have: Python
  • Knowledge regarding software development and related processes (Agile)
  • Fluent in English 

 

Desired characteristics:

  • Experience in agile methodology like Scrum 
  • Aware of Stored Procedures, Packages and Functions 
  • Strong analytical-thinking, problem-solving- and communication-skills 
  • Able to work in a global team and remote setup
