Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a similar discipline;
• More than 3 years of experience in a data / IT;
• Data modelling – defines the objective of the data model architecture (Data Vault, Kimball, Inmon, mix);
• Data integration – defines the strategy and tooling for the integration of data from and to external systems, as well as the processing in the data platform;
• Data security – Ensures that the architecture and implemented solutions allow the application of security concepts over the date, in order to be compliant with the requirements;
• Data governance – works with the governance team to set applicable standards and policies;
• Hard-skills strategy – defines and works together with the implementation teams to achieve the objectives and learn the new technologies that will be adopted, as well as the integration of the new skills needed in the team;
• Tech-stack definition – establishes together with the teams the best mix of technologies that allow the implementation of the proposed solutions;
• Migration – is responsible for proposing and supporting the implementation of data migration projects (on-prem -> cloud, one data platform to another);
• Strategy – discusses with the teams and stakeholders the objectives of the data strategy, assists in defining the implementation plan, so that the strategy becomes a reality;
• Performance – plans and implements solutions to monitor and improve the performance of the solution, taking into account the business requirements and the need for data;
• Infrastructure – helps to design the data infrastructure to support the implemented solutions and keep these solutions aligned with industry trends;
• Automation – actively seeks the implementation of automation solutions to reduce repetitive manual work (Data quality, data ingestion, processing, deployment);
• Scalability – ensures that the implemented solutions are well decoupled, can scale and respond to current and future needs for the data platform.
